Idea Evaluator

What is it?

A simple template for evaluating and scoring each idea against strategic criteria. This allows you to compare ideas and determine which idea(s) is most likely to meet the objectives of the project and should be taken forward.

When to use it?

When you have a range of ideas and need to decide which has the most potential. This can be used early on to go from longlist to shortlist, or it can be used later when you want to decide which shortlist ideas to take to testing/further validating.

Top Tip: If you have lots of ideas (during the early stages of ideation) get your project group/ideation group to vote for their favourites using dot voting. Each person gets 3-5 votes (use stickers or just coloured pens to tick next to each idea). The ideas with the most votes go forward.
