Innovation Brief
What is it?
One of the most common errors in innovation projects is to jump straight to solution before properly defining the questions you’re answering.
An effective brief provides a clear direction and pinpoints precisely what you need to achieve. It unites the team around a shared goal and provides a plan that will keep them on course.
On the flip side, defining the brief might also uncover some hidden assumptions and misunderstandings that need to be addressed before they scupper your plans later.
When to use it?
Towards the end of your Immerse phase when you’ve gathered more insight and information and you're ready to really clearly define the opportunity.
